Drop Top Customs' owner, Jeff Moran, said that the company has began accepting orders for the Camaro Convertible with prices starting from around $18,000, and that of course, does not include the cost of the donor car. Prices for the tintop Camaro range from $22,680 for the base LS V6 to $33,745 for the 2SS V8. Source: Drop Top Customs
If owning a topless version of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is a 'must' and money isn't an issue, then Drop Top Customs may fulfill your dreams way before we see the factory-built Camaro Convertible which is not due until the first half of 2012 and that is, if GM decides to move ahead with the project which has been put on hold. The Florida-based coachbuilder's proposal will be displayed at the 2009 SEMA show in early November, most likely alongside other drop-top conversions from the company including the Challenger Convertible.
