Russian Tuner 'Status Design' Does the BMW X6 SAV

In case the BMW X6 just doesn't make the cut for you, Status Design, a Moscow-based tuning shop, has launched a new kit package for the Bavarian crossover that bundles aero mods with performance upgrades.
The exterior aero package includes a body kit with side skirts, carbon fiber roof spoiler, front bumper with LED daytime running lights, carbon trim on the window surrounds, mirror covers and dual-kidney grille, and a new rear bumper that makes room for a pair of dual tail pipes and a carbon fiber diffuser. A set of 22-inch alloy wheels from Hartge complete the crossover's looks.
The Russian tuner also gives the X6's 3.0-liter straight-six turbo more grunt by modifying the vehicle's ECU and adding a sport exhaust system and sport air filter. These upgrades help lift output by 74HP for a total of 380-horsepower.

Russia's Met-R Creates the BMW X6 Interceptor

Here are some photos of a BMW X6 wide-body kit designed by Zaur Khalilov of Zaoor Design. Created for Met-R, a Moscow-based tuning shop, it's called the Interceptor. As with any X6-based work, the actual work has to be evaluated (not the car). The Interceptor's nose is nice and aggressive, and those vertical driving lights just add to it. Even the matte black helps, but that's about as far as it goes.
A really interesting detail is the kidney eyebrows derived from the 6-Series, which help it stand out from the rest of the fender-extension tuner pack.
The rendering is nice-looking overall; unfortunately the car it's based on is not.

Marussia F2 Crossover Makes its Debut in Moscow

The Marussia F2 was recently unveiled in Moscow, and boy does it have some lofty goals. With the blocky, zig-zaggy F2, Marussia wants to move beyond the supercar crowd and target well-to-do individuals and fleet services alike. Sadly, it seems to just be a mock-up (no actual stats were provided).

Forget the love-it or hate-it design; the F2 has got more going for it than one might think. It's supposedly got a modular interior, allowing it to be reconfigured depending on the needs at hand, the rear doors slide for better entry and exit, and it uses a multimedia system that integrates GPS, Skype, and probably a few other neat tricks.

All these aspects could be good for people needing a vehicle to tackle SWAT duties, off-road rescue, or simple transportation between high-level super-secret meetings where there's a briefcase handcuffed to your arm.

Interesting, but why not just modernize a Hummvee?

TopCar Targets Russia's New Money with Porsche Panamera Stingray

Russia's newly formed high society will soon be able to turn to one of its own tuners to make their Porsche Panamera stand out from the crowd as TopCar has officially revealed its Stingray program for Stuttgart's four-door sports saloon.

Developed in cooperation with domestic tuner Cardi (bodykit design) and Germany's 9ff (performance upgrades and build), TopCar's Panamera Stingray comes with a full bodykit made from carboxylic fiber that includes newly designed front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser, new bonnet and a twin rear spoiler.

The sport saloon's exterior looks are rounded off with a new set of 21-inch multispoke alloy wheels.

The carbon-fiber theme is continued in the not-suitable-for-epileptics interior with the dashboard, steering wheel, door panel and center console all finished in "authentic carbon", while TopCar also upholstered the seats and other parts of the interior with high-quality quilted nappa leather.

Performance-wise, TopCar said that the Stingray's package includes a new sport suspension that brings the Panamera a little closer to the road and an engine kit comprising of a new exhaust system and reconfigured ECU, without however, getting into any more details.

TopCar will display the Porsche Panamera Stingray for the first time in Russia at the Moscow Dream Car Show on April 2 while the international jet-set will get a chance to see the car in the flesh at the star-studded Top Marques exhibition in Monaco on the 15th of April.

Marussia supercar from Russian

Not only production supercar "duel" with competitors from England or Italy, Marussia also built the first hybrid supercar Russia.

Super sports car equipped Marussia B1 hybrid engine, acceleration 0-100 km / h after 5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed 250 km / h. Price of about 146,000 USD.

Marussia founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Moscow. Its production plan 3000 super car each year. This is the first and only company of Russia "dare" produce the first-class sports car.

Partner largest Marussia is Cosworth,a UK company specializing in production of engines for racing.

Model was first introduced as Marussia B1 at the capital of Russia, on December 16, 2008. B2 launches in Frankfurt exhibition in 2009 and became a memorable event in the village automotive world. The vehicle to 100 km / h after 3.2 seconds.
