Even though its more obvious than a wedding pimple that BMW isn't much of an enthusiast of the yearly Specialty Equipment Marketers Association (SEMA) show, nevertheless, many modified Bimmers made their way to the Las Vegas Convention Center this week. We'll let you be the judge on their unsightliness or beauty after you check them all out in our high-resolution gallery after the break.

Kia Forte Koup to Enter Grand-AM Koni Challenge Racing Series
"We researched every form of auto racing in the U.S. to find a fan base that was aligned with our target demographics, and found GRAND-AM to be the perfect fit," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing, Kia Motors America. The front-wheel drive Forte Koup will compete in the GRAND-AM Koni series against a variety of production-based race cars from the U.S., Europe and Asia.
At this week's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Kia unveiled a racing version of the new Forte Koup with which it will compete in the 2010 GRAND-AM KONI Sports Car Challenge Series in the Street Tuner (ST) class, thus marking the firm's first ever racing efforts on U.S. soil. The Korean automaker has teamed with the Kinetic Group to build and campaign two Forte Koups that will be driven by Andy Lally and Nic Jönsson.

Black Camaros, yellow Camaros, winged Camaros, insanely powerful Camaros, convertible Camaros even Pontiac Trans Am conversions of the Camaro; if you're a die-hard fan of General Motors' reborn pony car then SEMA is the place to be as the 2010 Camaro is a dominate force at this year's aftermarket 'carnival' in Las Vegas. If you hit the jump you can get a taste of the Camaro project cars that are on show at the 2009 SEMA in our high-res photo gallery.

The Phoenix T/A kit also includes other body parts such as the new hood with a shaker scoop, specific front fenders and rear fascia complete with taillights and a boot spoiler. The 20-inch gold or silver machined face snowflake wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero 305/35ZR20 tires and the unique tail pipes plus the interior trim and badge appointments complete the cosmetic package. Trans Am Depot will also offer a range of performance upgrades including a suspension and engine kit for Camaro SS' V8 powerhouse. The company plans to sell the Phoenix T/A as a completed model (based on the Camaro SS) or as a conversion kit starting early next year.
The team over at Trans Am Depot showed off a revised version of their Pontiac conversion of the 2010 Chevy Camaro at this week's SEMA Show. Compared to the original Phoenix T/A that was revealed earlier this year (see photos after the jump), the new model features some stylistic upgrades such as the reworked graphics, a new front fascia with quad headlights, revised lower air inlets and a ground effects package with chunky side skirts and a front apron, all of which bring closer in looks to the 1977-1978 Pontiac Trans Am.

The concept model gets all the design features that made the original Daytona look special such as the 'mile-high' rear wing, the elongated front nose piece, the hood scoops and the front fender trims. Other highlight of the Dodge Challenger Daytona include the Vortech supercharged 5.7-liter V8 engine that should be good for around 600 horsepower or more, the KW Automotive sport suspension and the Magnaflow sport exhaust system. Back in the late 1960's, Dodge developed the Charger Daytona race car to compete in NASCAR but to comply with the rules, they also had to build at least 500 copies to sell to the public and thus was born the Charger Daytona, the most outrageous musclecar of the time. Taking a step back into the good old days, the guys over at Heide Performance Products created the modern day successor to the road-legal racer with the Dodge Challenger-based Daytona concept that was shown at this week's SEMA.
Same goes for the tri-color interior with the 2+2 seating layout while under-the-hood upgrades include a TRD supercharger kit and limited slip differential plus side exhausts and new suspension parts.
Toyota's youthful Scion brand will be represented by an array of custom-made cars at this week's SEMA gathering in Las Vegas including this low-rider tC that was crafter by the crew over at EPIC Cartel. Said to be inspired by a variety of builds, the tC Concept's most prominent features are the chopped-down roof that loses its center panel and rear window, and its ridiculously lowered ride height. The car also gets massive 22-inch alloy wheels shod in 235/30 ZR22 rubber from Toyo as well as custom fabricated body parts.
This here is 0-60 Magazine's tuning take on the new Lexus IS hardtop convertible. Among other mods, the IS C features GReddy Performance exhaust system, engine management computer and gauges, a KW coilover suspension system and Brembo Brakes with custom front and rear Big Brake kit (rotors and calipers). Style-wise, the Japanese convertible has been fitted with a Ings+1 exterior body kit and one-piece alloy wheels from Advan Racing Lightweight while the interior has been enhanced with a pair of Sparco bucket seats. More photos after the break.
The coupe's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine was also upgraded with a Turbonetics GT-K 350 ceramic ball bearing turbo and Spearco front-mount intercooler while other performance mods include a full GReddy Racing Ti-C turbo-back exhaust, StopTech brakes and a new coilover kit that lowers the car's ride height.
Among the various Hyundai Genesis Coupe proposals showcased at SEMA is this funky example that was co-developed by RIDES and Lux Design. The Korean coupe was sprayed with a coat of Porsche 911 GT3 RS orange paint while the roof was refinished in matte black. It also features a custom body kit from Sarona Design that includes a new front fascia, rear bumper, grille, sideskirts and vented fenders, complemented by a set of 20-inch matte black alloy wheels from Vossen.

Honda said that all of the painted Mugen parts will come color-matched to one of five popular colors for the Accord that include: Polished Metal Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, White Diamond Pearl and Taffeta White. In addition to the Mugen-ized Accord sedan, Honda also displayed several other accessorized models including the Fit with MUGEN accessories, a Honda Factory Performance (HFP) Civic Si Sedan and a HFP Accord Coupe.
Today at the SEMA Show, Honda previewed its new line of MUGEN accessories for the U.S. market 2010 Accord sedan that will be available on an a la carte basis through the firm's authorized dealers starting on November 11. The Japanese firm displayed an Accord sedan fitted with various goodies from its in-house tuner such as 18-inch alloy wheels, front sports grille, front under-spoiler, side skirts, rear apron, sports floor mats, machined aluminum oil filler cap and a unique front emblem.
