Skoda has unveiled the new facelift Fabia Estate GreenLine II and Roomster GreenLine II. Both models are the first of Skoda's second-generation GreenLine products and feature several key fuel-saving technologies.
A new common rail, high pressure direct injection diesel engine has been fitted in the Fabia and Roomster. It is a Euro 5-compliant 1.2-litre TDI motor producing 56 kW (75 bhp / 76 PS). Coupled with it are a five-speed transmission, start-stop, energy recuperation and gear recommendation systems.
Skoda says all these combined with other innovations like low resistance tyres, ensure fuel consumption of 83.1 mpg and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km in the Fabia. The Roomster returns 67.3mpg and 109 g/km.
