The official two-minute long trailer for the Pagani Zonda R shows the car as it goes from assembly to the track with a horribly cliche soundtrack. The car is shown tearing up both dry and wet tarmac, with only slight fishtailing.
The Italian-made Zonda R was designed to house a 6.0-liter V12 engine sourced from AMG. It produces 740 horsepower (750 PS / 552 kW) and up to 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a XTRAC six-speed sequential gearbox, and gets the car from 0-100km/h in 2.7 seconds. Carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo keep the speed under control.
With a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), the 1,070kg (2359 lb) car looks to be capable of great things. At a price of €1,460,000, it better deliver on its promise.
