Mazda Will Use Toyota Technology To Sell Hybrid Cars By 2013

Mazda has entered an agreement with Toyota in regards with hybrid technology. The Mazda brand is looking to use the Prius technology in a car of their own, and this is a massive attempt to try and stay ahead—or even in—the electric game. The deal was announced earlier today, and it will allow the brand to use the hybrid system and all of its key components. Toyota’s Prius system will be connected to the next-generation SKY engine range, and this will allow for a sale date in 2013.Toyota might also consider leasing technology to other companies, depending on the money involved—most probably.
