When the Audi A1 comes to the UK market towards the end of the year, it will be priced from £10,646.81 for the base model with a 1.2-liter petrol engine and five-speed manual transmission, to £15,017.02 for the S line with a 1.4-liter petrol engine with a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The A1 will be sold with three different engine options, two transmissions, and three different trim levels.
In addition to the 86 PS (63 kW, 85 bhp) 1.2-liter TFSI, a 1.6-liter TDI diesel producing 105 PS (77 kW, 104 bhp) will also be used. The 1.4-liter TFSI petrol generates 122 PS (90 kW, 120 bhp). Only the five-speed manual will be mated to the base-level petrol and diesel, with the S tronic transmission being optionally available for £1,208.51 on the 1.4-liter engine. The 1.4 comes standard with a six-speed manual.
Pricing on the base level car with the diesel starts at £11,527.66. The Sport model goes for £12,178.72 with the 1.2-liter, £12,519.15 with the 1.4-liter and a manual gearbox, £13,059.57 on the 1.6-liter, and £13,727.66 for the 1.4-liter with the S tronic.
S line pricing starts at £13,468.09, and moves up to £15,017.02. All cars come standard with start/stop, regenerative braking, and 15-inch alloy wheels.
