Designed to be bold, the Abt R8 features revised aprons, a new grille, modified side sills, and 20-inch two-tone wheels (lightweight 19-inch wheels are also available).
Under the hood, Abt modified the 5.2-liter V10 to produce 600 PS (441 kW / 591 hp) - an increase of 75 PS (55 kW / 74 hp). This enables the roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
Besides the styling and performance upgrades, Abt installed new suspension springs for better handling. While the company didn't release specifications, they stated the springs reduce the ride height and lower the center of gravity.
