Toyota has unveiled the Prius G Sports Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
Looking like a fish out of water, the concept features numerous styling tweaks to improve its aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. Modifications include new bumpers, revised side skirts, LED daytime running lights, a dual exhaust system, and 18-inch alloy wheels outfitted with high performance tires.
Inside, the car boasts a revised steering wheel, RECARO sport seats, aluminum pedals, black piano trim, and a new information display.
Like the standard Prius, power comes from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 73 kW (99 PS) and 142 Nm of torque.
While the engine is unchanged, Toyota made some minor modifications to improve the car's dynamics. They installed chassis reinforcements and a high performance ADVICS braking system.
